Welcome to CYUEN
The second “Cyber University Era Now” international conference will take place in the region of Aquitaine over a period of three days. Between Garonne and its vineyards, UNR Aquitaine, with the support of the University of Bordeaux, will welcome you at the Convention Centre of Bordeaux from 10 to 12 December. Engage in the exchanges and debates about the challenges and uses of digital technology in higher education, and come and discover the exhibition space, laid out in a space of more than 3000 square metres. In these institutions devoted to the creation and dissemination of knowledge, ICT/ICT for Education are changing the scale of actions. This day will be devoted to analysing the challenges of the necessary adaptations in terms of the quality and visibility of all the institutions’ activities. The study of the impacts of ICT/ICT for Education on the management of personnel, the institution and activities (IT, teaching and documentation) will be complemented by a consideration of digital strategies (the institution’s plans) to be put in place for good governance.
The morning plenary sessions will launch the debates and tackle the general ICT/ICT for Education policy in higher education institutions and adaptation strategies on both sides of the Atlantic.
The round tables of the afternoon session will be organized around four topics:

Being successful at university means coming to terms with knowledge and displaying expertise; this day will analyse what part ICT for Education/ICT play in this and will broadly make use of experiences derived from the Thematic Digital Universities (Universités Numériques Thématiques - UNT) and Regional Digital Universities (Universités Numériques en Région - UNR).
The morning plenary sessions will be devoted to digital libraries and French national programmes (UNR, UNT…) and foreign programmes.

Cooperation questions will close this new training initiative. From intra- and inter-institution cooperation to international cooperation, from the challenges facing the pooling of strengths to the technical methods of such pooling, we will monitor the feedback and debates on the use and contribution of information and communication technologies.
